The port of Milwaukee is named
Salmon Capitol of the World because more of Wisconsin's Lake
Michigan's State Records have been caught out of the Milwaukee.
Located in close proximity to deep water, anglers can experience
some of the best fresh water fishing for salmon and trout. The
season starts in April by trolling Lake Michigan shores in search
of coho salmon. As the summer progresses Chinook salmon, steelhead,
browns and lake trout mix there way into the bag.. July is the
month for those challenging steelhead. August - September the
BIG ONES, (King Salmon) begin their trek to our home port.
Located at Mc Kinley Marina we're a short drive from Chicago
and south of Port Washington. Call Captain Dan at 262-501-1647 or email FishingHQ@aol.com |
