The port of Milwaukee is located on Lake Michigan and is home to some of the best big game sportfishing for salmon and trout. Fishing begins in May with Coho salmon. June and July, Steelhead, Chinook (King salmon), and Lake trout round out the catch. The BIG ONEs (King Salmon), return home starting in late August and run through September. Book early as good dates go fast.
